A linear program has a linear objective and linear constraints, with continuous decision variables. Fixed coefficients can multiply variables, but variables cannot multiply each other. For example, x plus two y is linear; x times y is not. Adding a binary restriction creates a mixed-integer model. The continuous L P sensitivity arguments in this lesson should not be applied directly to that different problem.
