Weak duality says every feasible production value is at most every feasible dual value. The proof uses nonnegativity and the two feasibility conditions. For example, prices two and one cover both product contributions and give a capacity value of thirteen. Therefore no feasible production plan can exceed thirteen. The bound is valid even though it isn't the tightest available bound.
